Welcome to the Primary School at Arab International Academy!
As the school Principal, I am privileged to be part of this organization where learning knows no boundaries and the educational experience is truly unique.
At Arab International Academy, we are committed to providing a balanced educational framework that integrates academic rigor with enriching experiences to foster the social and emotional development of young learners. We believe that each child is a capable individual, and our team of educators implements approaches to teaching that support the holistic development of children and help them grow as self-regulated learners.
In alignment with our vision to develop individuals with a strong sense of identity, and who exhibit open-mindedness towards other cultures and responsiveness to the ever-changing world, we recognize bilingualism and education for sustainability as the main pillars that drive the school curriculum. Children engage in curricular and extracurricular work that extends their experience in the Arabic and English languages. This, along with learning French as an additional language, allows our learners to become proficient language users and gain a deeper understanding of their own identities as well as develop an appreciation for the diversity of cultures. Our curriculum also integrates concepts of sustainability and fosters environmental responsibility to empower our young learners to become agents of positive change in their communities.
Our philosophies are reflected in learning environments and spaces that are thoughtfully designed to challenge young minds and inspire creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking. Using indoor and outdoor learning areas, learners experience different pathways towards building knowledge and skills and are strongly empowered to explore, experiment, and innovate.
