STEAM Approach
At the Arab International Academy Early Years, we introduce science and mathematics concepts through engaging and interactive approaches based on play, experimentation, and inquiry. Children learn through simple hands-on activities that spark curiosity and encourage observation, exploration, and discovery of the world around them.
Children take part in age-appropriate projects and activities that involve the use of everyday materials, simple tools, and the arts to build ideas and test them. Through constructive play, drawing, designing, and exploration, children begin to naturally connect what they learn to their daily lives in meaningful and enjoyable ways.
We believe that authentic learning at this stage occurs when children are actively engaged, curious, and motivated. For this reason, STEAM elements are introduced gradually in ways that respect children’s developmental stages and nurture a love of exploration, imagination, and creative thinking.
