Student Voice

At the Arab International Academy – Lusail, we believe that students are active partners in their learning. Giving them a voice, meaningful choice, and responsibility plays a vital role in strengthening their self-confidence and developing their leadership skills. Guided by this belief, the Academy provides diverse opportunities for students to participate actively in school life and lead initiatives, from the Student Council, where they represent the voices of their peers and lead student-led gatherings and initiatives, to participation in Model United Nations (MUN) conferences that develop dialogue, critical thinking, and diplomatic skills.
Community engagement, charitable campaigns, student-led conferences and events, and celebrations of learning all provide authentic spaces for students to showcase their progress, take ownership of their learning, and contribute positively to their community. Wellbeing Ambassadors also play an important role in fostering a positive school climate that supports mental health and a sense of belonging.
Through these practices, students are empowered to make decisions, lead their own initiatives, and build confidence as independent learners, active contributors, and engaged partners within their school community.
