International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People
On the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, AIA's auditorium became a vibrant space where art, memory, and the human experience together voiced the determination to oppose injustice and bring about a more just and peaceful future.
We were delighted to host guests from the fields of media, film, art, conflict, and humanitarian work, who brought us testimonies and insights that redefined the meaning of resilience and justice.
The event's segments ranged from talks with guests, poetry readings, and songs, followed by a poignant account of the reality of prisoners in the occupation's jails, and then a moving human story about childhood in wartime; a childhood searching for a moment of safety and a sky without smoke.
There was also a huge fundraising efforts and donation campaigns that took place in the weeks prior.
We emerged with one voice saying: "When we stand in solidarity, we are not offering condolences… we are setting the compass right
