The Student Voice
In the Secondary School, we are committed to empowering students as active partners within their school community, ensuring that their voices are heard and that they play a meaningful role in initiative and positive change. The Student Council plays a central role in representing their peers, participating in discussions on school matters, and organizing initiatives and events that promote leadership, responsibility, and teamwork.
Classroom research projects provide students with valuable opportunities to express their interests, showcase their skills, and develop original work that reflects depth of thinking and independence in learning. Student-led conferences offer an important platform for students to present their academic progress and reflect on their learning journeys. Morning assemblies, school activities, and special events further provide spaces for students to express their views and engage positively with the wider school community.
Students also organize an annual conference modeled on the Model United Nations (MUN) and participate in similar conferences hosted by other schools. These experiences strengthen skills in dialogue, critical thinking, diplomacy, and global awareness.
Through this approach, we cultivate a school culture that values student voice, strengthens a sense of belonging, and promotes dialogue, participation, and responsibility. In doing so, we prepare students to become confident learners and active leaders within their school and beyond.
